Yesterday a group of us from the Colne & Colchester Embroiderers' Guild spent the day putting up our exhibition at Layer Marney Tower. It is such a beautiful place to spend the day we felt very lucky that we were putting on an exhibition there. The exhibition is in two of the rooms in the tower the 'Linen Room' and the 'Map Room'. The building is an adventure to look around, the views from the tower are stunning.
The exhibition is half way up the tower and offers a welcome rest to guests either on their way up or down the tower.
The exhibition is open
1st to 10th August 2011 (excluding Friday & Saturday)
Sunday to Thursday 12 noon – 5pm
